Dashboard
The Dashboard gives you a quick overview of your finances with charts, metrics, and insights.
Summary Cards
Section titled “Summary Cards”At the top of the dashboard, you’ll see:
- Total Income — Sum of all income for the period
- Total Expenses — Sum of all expenses for the period
- Net Balance — Income minus expenses
- Transaction Count — Number of transactions
Spending by Category
Section titled “Spending by Category”A pie or donut chart showing how your expenses are distributed across categories. Hover over segments to see exact amounts.
Spending Trends
Section titled “Spending Trends”A line or bar chart showing your spending over time. Useful for identifying patterns and seasonal changes.
Budget Progress
Section titled “Budget Progress”Visual cards showing each budgeted category with:
- Current spending amount
- Budget limit
- Progress bar
- Percentage used
Quick Insights
Section titled “Quick Insights”Automated observations about your spending:
- Unusual spending compared to previous periods
- Categories approaching budget limits
- Spending velocity (are you on track for the month?)
Date Range Selection
Section titled “Date Range Selection”Use the date picker to view different time periods:
- This Month
- Last Month
- Last 3 Months
- Last 6 Months
- This Year
- Custom Range
Dashboard Tips
Section titled “Dashboard Tips”- Check the dashboard weekly to stay on top of spending
- Use insights to identify areas for improvement
- Compare month-over-month to track progress
